"The Earth Seen From the Moon"
Pier Paolo Pasolini
Italy, 1967

The Witches also includes:

"The Witch Burned Alive"
Luchino Visconti

"Civic Spirit"
Mauro Bolognini

"The Sicilian Belle"
Franco Rossi

"An Evening Like the Others"
Vittorio De Sica

De Sica's "An Evening Like Others" was shot as Clint Eastwood was riding high from his Man With No Name trilogy and becoming a superstar. United Artists brought the distribution rights and then refused to release it in the US. Specifically, UA hid the film from American audiences whom they thought would be turned off by Eastwood's participation and would consequently hurt the box office receipts of his upcoming pictures.
